About OKD

The Okami Karate Dojo was founded in 2019 by Christopher Adamchek 4th Dan 'Renshi' instructor from Wagner's Karate Goju where he studied for 20 years.  He created his own school to spread his eclectic Goju curriculum and expand self-defense across New Haven.

We put a heavy focus on making practical physical, verbal, and social self-defense accessible and affordable to the New Haven community.

Pictured right is Alawa an ambassador wolf of the Wolf Conservation Center that OKD has "adopted".
